John W. Ferris

FERRIS, John Walter , age 76 of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Huntington, IN on July 7, 1940. He was the son of John Robert Eisenhauer and Marilouise Eisenhauer who precede him in death; as well as, his brother-in-law, Eugene Young. Survivors are: his beloved wife of 22 years, Martha (Schwarb) Ferris; sister, Jacqueline Young; brother, Michael Eisenhauer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Mary Schwarb; sister-in-law, Joyce Abegglen; sons, John David Ferris and Robert Pequignot; daughters, Katharine Ferris and Jerri Moomey; grandchildren, Hally Ferris, Chelsea Pequignot, Nicholas Moomey and Sarah Moomey and his beloved cat, Stuart Little; and many nieces and nephews. John cherished his friends Gary and Ann Sizemore; as well as, Larry and June Atterholt. John was a graduate of Huntington High School. He served as a reserve in the Indiana National Guard and in the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 7 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, OH.
