John Michael Fisher

FISHER, John Michael age 72 of Urbana, formerly of Riverside passed away Saturday December 21, 2013 at Heartland of Urbana after a lengthy illness. He was born June 7, 1941 in Piqua, son of the late William G. & Janet (Purdy) Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a retired employee of DAP Corp.; a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church and the Vandalia Masonic Lodge # 742 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother William Fisher. Michael is survived by his wife of 25 years Beverly (Boyer) Fisher; 2 daughters Michelle & husband Pete Derksen of Huber Heights and Lara & husband Tim Louderback of Cleveland TN; 3 granddaughters Valerie, Carly, Abigail and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 26 at 1:00pm at the Vandalia United Methodist Church 200 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev Tom Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 11:00am until time of the service at 1:00pm.
