John Wade McClellan

McCLELLAN, John Wade Age 76, of Fort Collins, CO, formerly of Butler Twp. & Huber Heights, OH, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at his home in Colorado. He was born July 15, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Hazel Mildred (Lloyd) & Jobe (Joe) Green McClellan. John served as a Staff Sgt. in the United States Marine Corp from September 6, 1949 to December 19, 1952. He married Georgann Elizabeth Warren on February 17, 1972. John retired from Civil Service at WPAFB in December 1996 and was a member of Clan MacLellan. Preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Georgann in 2005, John is survived by his children, Janet Natalie (McClellan) Werst (Brian), Catherine Elizabeth (Hagedorn) Damron (Mark), Jeaneann Warren (W. Scott LeSuer), Donald (Chip) Michael Hagedorn (Debbie), & Mary Margaret (Hagedorn) Benysek, (John); his grandchildren, Robert, Jennifer, Phillip, Sean, Sarah, Matthew, Heather, Jacob, Gabrielle, Drake & Kaya. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 9, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 20 W. First St., Dayton with Rev. John Paddock officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service.
