SHARP, John W., 85, of Englewood, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his home. He was born to the late William & Marie Sharp on Dec. 2, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio. John graduated from the University of Dayton and was an engineer at N.C.R. and GE before retirement. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dayton. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 22 years, Ann G. Sharp, and his brother, William “Bill” Sharp. Survived by his daughter Tammy Sharp; sons, Timothy J. Sharp (Tammy) and Terry L. Sharp (Lori); grandchildren, Brandy, Bridgette (Jeff), Lacey, Jennifer (Jack), Chelsea, Casey & Kyle; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives & many friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Elder Dan Steinke, officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
