John D. Wagoner

Wagoner, John Dee of Vandalia, OH age 79 passed away at Hospice of Dayton on Tuesday November 8, 2011 Born in Gimlet, KY and raised Olive Hill, KY Preceded in death by his parents Bennie and Iva {Le Master} Wagoner, a brother and sister-in-law Herbert and Frances Wagoner and several infant brothers and sisters. He was proud to have served as an Army medic in the Korean War. He was the owner, founder and President of Wagoner Rug and Furniture Cleaners. Long time member and deacon of the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church and former Sunday School Superintendent. Survived by his wife of 58 years Janet Maurice {Clark} Wagoner 2 brothers Denver & Yvonne Wagoner, Kelly & Laverne Wagoner sister Joyce Ann & Robert Catron, all of Olive Hill, KY 3 children and their spouses Keith and Donna Wagoner of Olive Hill KY, Stephen and Janet L Wagoner of Tipp City OH and Regina and Stephen D Nickels of Vandalia OH Grandchildren, April Wagoner, Jennifer & Richie Douglas, Emily and Jason Kelly, Amanda & Dax Taulbee, Alicia Wagoner, Brandon Wagoner and Iva & Kyle Humphries. 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces nephews friends and relatives. Viewing Wednesday November, 9, 2011 5-8 PM and 10-11 AM Thursday. Funeral, Thursday November 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM all services at the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church 4800 Payne Ave, Dayton, OH 45414 Services conducted by Rev. Tim Hamilton. Burial at Poplar Hill Cemetery Arrangements by Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home. Thanks to the Heart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit at Miami Valley Hospital, Dr. Basel Yanes and staff, and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of our wonderful Dad.
