Jon Moore

MOORE, Jon D. age 48 of Vandalia, currently residing in Las Vegas, NV, passed away unexpectedly January 27, 2009. Jon was born November 1, 1960 in Dayton. He was a 1979 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School where he played on the varsity baseball team and played in the band. He had a great love for music and animals and was an avid sports fan supporting the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jon loved taking fishing trips to Canada with his dad. Jon is survived by his mother Jo (Wolfe) & husband Larry Sabec of Vandalia; his father John & wife Kathy Moore of Kettering; his daughter Samantha Moore and her mother Pamela Moore of Dayton; 4 aunts Dorothy (Jim) Heyne of Vandalia, Nancy (Mark) Helm of Vandalia, Karen (Bill) Hey of Centerville, and Edith Moore of Kettering; 2 cousins Jeff (Sue) Hey of Englewood, and Eric (Angela) Heyne of Vandalia; step-daughter Tricia Lockwood; step-sisters Debbie Baker, Connie (Jerry) Asbill; step-brothers Mark (Amy) Hildebrand, Jeff (April) Hildebrand; mother-in-law & father-in-law Ruby & James Clyburn and numerous other relatives and friends. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. If so desired, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Jons memory.
