REYNOLDS, Josephine, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born September 4, 1930 in Pike County, KY, daughter of the late James & Rosie (Murphy) Williamson. Preceded in death by 1 son, James C. Reynolds, 2 brothers, Benny & Lonnie Williamson and 2 sisters, Elsie Belfrey & Lacy Bevins, Josephine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frennie; 2 sons, Bill Miles Reynolds (Kimberleigh) & Larry Joe Reynolds; 1 daughter, Debra Lynne Piercey (fianc David Williams); daughter-in-law, Carol Reynolds (John Camby); 1 brother, Dennis Williamson; 2 sisters/best friends, Yvonne Howell & Mary Lou Fife; 9 grandchildren, Andrew, Molly, Casey (Jenni), Jill (Kris), Matthew, Jared, Emily, Joshua (Kristen), & Creighton; 6 great-grandchildren, Noah, Cole, Kaylon, Jacey, Sampson, & Jacob; special friends, Leroy & Liz Shade, Genna Anderson; her extended family who was close to her heart, Kathy & Lynda Reynolds, Becky Ewry and her outlaw , Jeff Piercey. To know Josephine was to love her. She taught us to love, laugh and to see the good in everyone. She viewed the world from her own front porch and once you joined her family, you were always in her heart. Funeral services for Josephine will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, May 19 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Perry Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vandalia Senior Citizens Center in Josephines memory.
