Josephine Weghorn

WEGHORN, Josephine Louise Jo (Kiefer), age 80 passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Weghorn and sister, Helen Fox. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Pelphrey & Jack Johnson; grandson, Jason Pelphrey; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Gabrielle & Jackson; her sister, Anne Siekierka; brother-in-law, Johnny Weghorn; her extended family of Chad & Alina Johnson, Greg & Sarah Pauly & Hunter, Hailey, Emma and Carsyn; special friend Ira Harper and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jo worked as a secretary for Roland St. John and retired from St. John Transportation Company. She was a member for St. Christopher Catholic Church. She always enjoyed music & animals, especially Zeke, Bailey and Maggie. Jo had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, joke and smile. Special thanks for your love and support over the years to Gina &Mike, Donna & Tim, Karen & Randy, Tom & Sharon, Kim & Jerome, Rocky, Emerald and her special prayer buddy, Jesse Noble. Thanks to the nurses from Alternate Solutions, Shelly & Lynn, the Definitive Home Care Team and Sonjia at Passport and many others who have touched our lives. Jo will be greatly missed. So old girl, in the words of your favorite, Jimmy Buffett, Drink it up, this ones for you, its been a lovely cruise. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 14 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lab Rescue GDLRR, c/o Renee Riegel, 375 Baker St., Brookville, OH 45309. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
