Joshua D. Mehall

MEHALL, Joshua Daniel age 24 of Vandalia, OH went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2014. Josh was preceded in death by his beloved grandma Lois Glander and his grandmother Edith Mehall. Josh leaves to cherish his memory his parents Dan Mehall and Denise Mehall; brothers Jordan (Courtney), Jake and Joel; Grannie Lena Miller; Grandparents Dave & Karen Mehall and Tony & Linda Glander; aunt Lisa Glander, uncle David (Carolyn) Mehall, uncle Jason (Olivia) Dillon uncle Tony Hicks, aunt Linda Stickley, aunt Sandra (Darrell) Sowell and many other relatives. Josh had a huge heart for his family especially his brothers and his much loved cats Gator, Butter, and George. His generous heart is a blessing to three others that will have a better quality of life because of his gift of organ donation. Josh suffered many years with drug addiction and the family desires that through his death that those afflicted with addictions will seek recovery and know that "thru Christ, one is a new creation: old things are passed away; all things become new" 2 Cor. 5:17. The family also wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of Josh's family, friends, and the Christian Life Center and Ginghamsburg Church communities. A deep gratitude of love and thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Good Samaritan Hospital. Special thanks to Life Connection of Ohio for the compassion and respect with Josh during procurement of his organs. A Celebration of Josh's life will be held for family and friends Tuesday January 21 at 6:00pm at Ginghamsburg Church Main Campus 6759 S. County Rd 25A Tipp City with Pastor Tony Miltenberger officiating. Private burial will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ginghamsburg Church NEXT STEP Recovery Program, The New Hope Recovery Center, Dayton OH, or The Christopher House of Xenia, OH.
