Joyce M. Petrosky Hale

PETROSKY HALE, Joyce M. age 73 of Butler Twp. passed away Sunday September 14, 2014 at the Springmeade Health Center. She was born October 8, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA daughter of the late Thomas & Josephine (Hoedle) MacMillan. Joyce was preceded in death by 2 sisters Bonnie Lombardo and Jolene Dutcher. She is survived by her children Melody Petrosky of CA, Michael & wife Valorie Petrosky of Union, and Marc & wife Janna Petrosky of Butler Twp.; her husband James Hale of Butler Twp.; one step-daughter Shannon & husband Jeff English of Vandalia; 2 brothers Tom and O'Dell MacMillan; 6 grandchildren Whitney Youngerman, Ashley Szelestey, Marcus Petrosky, Brandon Petrosky, Brittney Petrosky, Tyler English; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held Friday Sept. 19 at 7:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Rich Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:30pm until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to Hospice of Miami County in Joyce's memory.
