Juanita "Red" Ambos

AMBOS, Juanita C. Red age 73 of Union, passed away Sunday April 24, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 19, 1938 in Paintsville, KY daughter of the late Sherman & Mary (Horn) Castle. Red was a bank teller who retired from Bank One with over 30 years of service. She loved to bowl and was an avid BINGO player. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Gracie and Judy and one brother Charles. Red is survived by her husband of 40 years Bob Ambos; her children Bobby (Wendy) Ambos of Union, Debbie (Roy) Hensley of Riverside, Kimberly Ambos-Clark (Randy Clark) of Union, Michael (IvyJo) Ambos of Tipp City; one sister Margarette (Eugene) Davis of KY; one brother Clarence (Judy) Castle of Huber Heights; 7 grandchildren London, Stacey, Dylan, Jacob, Benjamin, Seth, and Ethan; 6 great-grandchildren Victoria, Shalyn, Joey, Josh, Lilly, and Shelby and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 27 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Gil Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Willowview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8pm.
