Judith Flanary

FLANARY, Judith A., age 60, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Springmeade Healthcare Center in Tipp City, where she had resided since 1999. Judith was born July 31, 1946 in Johnson County, KY, daughter of the late Fairchild & Mary Ruth (Ward) Runyon. She was a former member of the Inland Girls Club and the Eagles Aerie of Fairborn. Preceded in death by her husband, Philip in 1994, Judith is survived by 2 sons, Patrick W. Flanary of Kettering and Richard S. Flanary of Kettering; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Nicole, Timothy, Caitlyn, and Philip; 1 brother, Rick Runyon of Vandalia; 2 sisters, Nancy Kender & husband, Robert of Huber Heights and Brenda Fulks of West Alexandria; a special niece Wendy Whitaker, numerous other relatives, friends and her extended family at Springmeade Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 30 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Ed Ellis officiating. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Miami County Hospice in Judiths memory.
