Judith A. Highley
Age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 21, 2020 after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born to Milton and Julia Caldwell in Newark, Ohio on September 28, 1940.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William Highley; her children, Julie (James) Clapp, Janet (Tom) Poliquin, RaeJean (Todd) Gindelberger, and Bill Jr. (Holley) Highley. Also, her adored grandchildren, Jodi (Andy) Davis, Zach Highley, Victoria (Chris) Brown, Caleb and Tyler Gindelberger as well as 9 great grandchildren, Dylan, Lillian, Lincoln, Kristian, Ellison and Coulson Davis and Cameron, Katie and Liam Brown. She is also survived by her brother, Chip (MaryAnn) Caldwell and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy was a long-time member of the Huber Heights church of God where she served on many committees and participated in many activities including women’s ministry, Christian education, choir and musicals. She worked in Medical Records and as the Tumor Register at several of the medical facilities in the Dayton Area. She enjoyed cruises and snorkeling, singing and Southern Gospel music, camp meetings, and loved spending time with her family.
Private entombment services were held at Royal Oak Cemetery.
A celebration of life service is planned for a later date when Corona conditions permit safe assembly.
