Julia R. Windham

WINDHAM, Julia R. age 89 of Dayton, passed away Monday February 7, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 4, 1921 in Omaha, NE daughter of the late John & Mary (Dormire) Killean. Julia had been a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society. She enjoyed rubber stamping, cooking and collecting cookbooks. Mrs. Windham dearly loved spending her time with family. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles, William and Howard Killean. She is survived by her children Jon Windham, Doug (Jean) Windham, Mike (Donna) Windham, Becky (Kevin) Neal, Cindy Windham; one sister Helen McCormack; 5 grandchildren Tracy (Brian) Starr, Steve Windham, Kimi (Todd) Haley, Matt (Kelly) Windham, Mandie (David) Zeller; 10 great-grandchildren Nick, Taylor, Brady, Ethan, Kenzie, Brooklyne, Caitlin, Cody, Morgan, Mia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 11 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Josh Grimes & Matthew Windham officiating. Entombment will follow at Royal Oak Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am until time of the service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Julias memory.
