Age 72, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at The Hospice of Dayton. Karen was born January 24, 1948 in Dayton to the late Howard E. & Georgetta (Leeper) Berry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Skapik.

Karen is survived by her former husband & dear friend, Norman Hamlin; two sons, Bradley Hamlin, Sr. (Paula Jean Noppe) and Jeremy Hamlin (Amy Muran); three siblings, Christine Bubnick, Tim Berry (Elaine) & Linda Donaldson; four grandchildren, Bradley II, Brandin, Alyon & Myona; two great grandchildren, Brandin II & Brianna; nieces with whom she had a special relationship, Daniella, Chelsea, Lindsay & Mackienze; and by her loving dogs, Buddy & Willow.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 23, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.

Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
