Karen A. Jones

JONES, Karen A., age 69 passed away August 25, 2017 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born June 17, 1948 in Marion, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Catherine Hurr. Karen was a graduate of Carroll High School, Class of 1967 and worked at Miami Valley Hospital in the food service department. Preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Robert A. Jones, Karen is survived by her children, Christine (Dave) Haller and Michael Kesler; her first husband and father of her children, Richard Kesler; her siblings, Linda (Ken) Franke, Jim Hurr, Michelle Hurr, Tom (Cecilia) Hurr; and her two grandchildren, Colton & Laci, her pride and joy. Karen also leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 31 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Rev. Fr. John Tonkin officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Wednesday evening (8/30) from 5-8 pm.
