Kash Swiger
Age 75, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017. Kash was born July 14, 1941 in Wolfe County, KY to the late Herbert & Rosa Lee (Campbell) Swiger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Herbert Jr., Glenwood, Paul & Elizabeth Jane.
He is survived by his loving wife of the past 37 years, Shirley (Cox) Swiger; son, Kevin Custer (Jennifer); the lights of his life, his two cherished granddaughters, Ash & Bren; brother, Shelly Swiger (Lisa); sister, Erma Stacy; mother-in-law, Margaret Griffith (Tom Russo); brother-in-law, Mike Cox (Bobbie); his daily telephone buddies, Buck, Sissy & his “Brillo Pad Buddy;” his many beloved nieces & nephews; and by his beloved friend & companion, Max (“The most aggravatinist dog”).
Kash was a former employee of Dayton Tire & Rubber and retired from Chrysler.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday (6/7) at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City. His beloved nephew, Pastor James Swiger will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Assoc. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (Vandalia) is in charge of arrangements.
