Kate (Tipton) Hall

HALL, Kate age 85 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 25, 1929 in Irvin, KY, daughter of the late Frank & Rozetta Tipton. Kate was a former member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Hall & 1 daughter, Vicki Hall, Kate is survived by her 4 sons, Carl, Ken, Gary & Danny Hall; 9 grandchildren, Barbie, Mike, Ashley, Shannon, Andy, Katelyn, Terry, Wayne & Chrissy; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, September 4 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Mr. John Seagraves officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
