Kathlien Stevenson (Davis) Treinen

STEVENSON TREINEN, Kathlien (Davis) age 93 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday January 24, 2010 at the Life Care Hospital following an illness. She was born December 19, 1916 in Springfield, daughter of the late Mills & Fern (Sharp) Davis. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Stevenson in 2001 and her second husband Robert Treinen in 2005, one sister Loretta Bussard and one brother Kenneth Davis. Kathlien is survived by one son Dennis (Janice) Stevenson of Yonkers, NY; 2 daughters Kathlien Sue (Douglas) Latew of Germantown and Christie (Douglas) Mildon of Xenia; one sister Minneda Pearson; 5 grandchildren Annette (Brian) Angel, Sean (Cathy) Stevenson, Michelle (Josh) Sweigart, Ian (Cate) Stevenson, Colin Stevenson; 3 great-grandchildren Amanda, Nicholas, and Maxwell. Funeral services will be held Friday January 29 at 1:30pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Jeff Mohr officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30pm until time of services. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society or to the American Cancer Society in Kathliens memory.
