Kathryn L. Ellinger

ELLINGER, Kathryn L., age 96 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Stonespring of Vandalia. She was born March 4, 1920 in Van Wert, OH, daughter of the late Floyd W. & Emma (Raling) Shaw. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Ellinger Sr., her son, James E. Ellinger Jr. and her son-in-law, David Perilman.

She is survived by 2 children, Beverly Perilman of Butler Twp.; and David Ellinger (Jennifer) of FL; 6 grandchildren, Shannon Gillespie of Cincinnati, Kelley Gillespie of FL, Patrick Gillespie of Butler Twp., Julie Conley of Springboro, Jeff Perilman of Troy and Katie Isom of FL; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Bill Riley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:30 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Kathryn’s memory.
