Kathryn "Eileen" (Whitehead) Patrick

PATRICK, Kathryn Eileen (Whitehead), age 84 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Stonespring Nursing Center. She was born November 28, 1926 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late George & Catherine (Ranzow) Forsyth. Eileen was a retired employee of Monarch Marking, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Wegerzyn Garden Club. Preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy Whitehead, and her second husband John Bob Patrick, Eileen is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Aleshire of Dayton and Leslie & husband, Scott Eley of Vandalia; 4 grandchildren, Matthew & wife, Ginay Briggs, Margaret & husband, Ricky Barnhart, Barry & Jason Eley; 3 great-grandchildren, Laycea Tidwell, Spencer Briggs and Alli Barnhart; 1 sister, Mary Pine & husband, Dave of Aurora, OH; special cousin, Margaret McKnead of FL, step-son, Rev. Stephen Patrick & wife, Ruth and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 8 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 6540 N. Main St., Dayton with Pastor Doug Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to Friendship Village in Eileens memory.
