Kathleen Edith “Kathy” Conover

Age 73, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Victor & Anna Louise (McGinnis) Conover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Poling, and her nephew, Greg Poling.

Kathy was an avid reader, cat lover, donated to numerous charities, studied family genealogy and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Thomas Robert Hoskins and Jennifer Lynn Hoskins; one sister, Joyce Farley; five grandchildren, Christopher Hoskins, Jessica Stum, Jenna Pichot (Brandon), Hayley Stum and Katelyn Hoskins (Marte Craig); and five great grandchildren, Tristen and Jaxon Stum, and Bella, Emma and Jacob Craig.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Monday, April 15 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., in Vandalia. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Kathy to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
