Kay Leckey

Leckey, Kay E, age 86, of Vandalia,  passed away Wednesday, July 12,2023 At Soin Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Kay was employed as a nurse at Vandalia Medical Center for 23 years. She received her degree at Akron General Hospital as an RN. She was a member of the Vandalia Lioness and active member at Vandalia United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Philip A. Leckey.  Kay is survived by one daughter. Sharla and husband, Steve Caldwell of Tipp City; three sons, Tim and fiance, Lee of Orlando, Florida, Jeff Leckey of Vandalia and Raymond Leckey and wife, Myra of Waynesville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren,  Maxwell Leckey,  & Karlie Leckey, Madison, Michael &Trajan Caldwell. and Caitlyn & Anna Leckey; brother-in-law, Jon Leckey and wife, Vicky of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm with funeral service immediately following at 5:30 pm with Rev. Tom Weeks officiating.  Interment will be held Monday, July 17 at Cedar Point Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vandalia United Methodist Church in Kay's memory.
