Kenneth C. Bratton

Kenneth Carl Bratton age 80 passed away peacefully with his family at his side August 11, 2014. He was born in Bracken County Kentucky the 31st day of March 1934. Preceded in death by his mother Cecil (Day) and father Carl Bratton of Augusta KY. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Sandra J. (Niswonger) Bratton and three sons of Dayton Ohio - Mark S. Bratton (Karen, Heather and Chelsea), Kent T. Bratton (Melissa), Randy S. Bratton (Cathy, Isaac and Isabella) and two brothers Dave Bratton (Julie) Dayton, OH and Barry Bratton (Sally) Augusta, KY. Kenny had countless friends and loved ones who enjoyed his sense of humor. Kenny graduated from Kiser High school in 1952, attended the University of Dayton and was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War from 1956-1962. Kenny was Founder and CEO of Hydro Security Systems and Tipp City Pipe and Supply. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, photography and especially the company of his family and friends. Kenny loved animals, had many pets and was a charitable man always ready to help someone in need. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 16th 10AM at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 South Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377 with Father Francis Keferl officiating. Interment will be in Polk Grove Cemetery immediately following. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5PM-8PM.
