BRENNER, Kenneth E. of Miami County, age 78, passed away on December 24, 2016. He was born in Huber Heights, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his firstborn child, Thomas A. Brenner in 2008, and 5 siblings, Opal Hammons, Johanne McCoy, Freda Jeffers, Paul Brenner, and Richard Brenner. He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years Sharon (Lloyd) Brenner, and sons, Anthony “Tony” and Michael “Mike” Brenner. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Zachary, Elizabeth, Daniel, Ryan, Emily, Matthew and Jason, and 2 great-grandchildren Trecca and Gary Jr. He is also survived by 2 brothers Lloyd A. Brenner Jr. and Ronald “Ron” Brenner. Ken was the owner/operator of Kens Auto Service in Butler Township for many years where he made many life-long friends. He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church on Dog Leg Road for nearly 56 years. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge #3491 in new Carlisle. Ken was well known for his interesting sense of humor, and his great love for his family and everyone that he met. He was a loving husband, amazing father and grandfather, brother and uncle to many extended family members, and a loyal friend to many. He will be greatly missed by the entire community of those whose path he crossed in life. There will be no visitation, and private graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. A memorial service is planned for Thursday December 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at St Paul Church 7700 Dog Leg Road in Butler Twp. There will also be an opportunity for remembrance after the service in the fellowship hall at the church. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.mortonwhetstonefh.com
