Kenneth Copeland

COPELAND, Kenneth A. age 82 of Butler Twp., passed away Tuesday August 2, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 4, 1923 in Peebles, OH son of the late Asa M. & Ethel G. Copeland. Mr. Copeland was a retired supervisor from Dayton Tire & Rubber, and was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the VFW Post# 9582 and American Legion Post# 668. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda J. Copeland; 2 sons Richard Rick Copeland and Kenneth Randy Copeland, and several brothers and sisters. Kenneth is survived by 2 sons John Copeland of Dayton and Jeff & wife Dawn Copeland of Anna, 2 brothers Dean & wife Betty Copeland of Englewood, and Don Copeland of FL, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, special friends Jane Francis, Don Carpenter, and Bryant Crawford, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 6 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 8pm.
