Kenneth Richardson

Age 98, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at The Hospice of Dayton. Kenny was born July 24, 1923 in Sadoni, Illinois to the late Herbert & Cltia (Turpin) Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his dear friends & cousins, Paul & Ruth Boehner; close friend, Joe Gentry; and by one brother, Clifford Richardson.

Kenny is survived by his good friend of over 40 years, Gene Laird & his wife, Mary; dear friend, Sandy Gentry; and by two brothers, Zelmar & Linvell Richardson.

The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Inurnment will be at Polk Grove Cemetery in Butler Twp.
