Kevin L. Hawse

Kevin L. Hawse Age 57, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2013, as the result of a heart attack. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Roy B. Hawse; and by one brother, Roy A. Hawse. Kevin is survived by his wife of the past 35 years, Victoria L. Vicki (Speck) Hawse; his mother and step-father, Beverly A. (Pummill) Hawse-Unger & James C. Unger, Sr.; three sons, David L. Hawse, Curtis P. Hawse & his wife, Rachel, and Bradley T. Hawse; two grandchildren, Sophia & Grant Hawse; two sisters, Donna (John) Fine and Diana (Mark) Robinson; one sister-in-law, Patsy Hawse; one step-sister, Janell (Lorrie) Foust; two step-brothers, Jeffery (Mindy) Unger and James C. Unger, Jr.; one uncle, Don (Judy) Pummill; and by his extended family & many good friends. Kevin was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and played in the Monday Night Golf League at Homestead Golf Course and the Thursday Night League at Penn Terra. He retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. The family will be receiving family & friends from 4:00 " 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 29, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia. They will also be receiving from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Keferl at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in West Milton. If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Kevin to either St. Christopher Church or the Vandalia Schools Athletic Boosters Assoc. Envelopes will be available at the church.
