“Konny”

Age 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born on January 20, 1963 in Schweinfurt, Germany to Kurt & Maria Klein. She was raised along with her siblings Jurgen, Uwe, Petra and Ute.

Her passion growing up in Germany was riding horses, going to the mountains, and spending time with her family. As she got older and created her own family, she continued to do what she loved by carrying on her German traditions in Vandalia, Ohio. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as cooking, baking, gardening, and making memories with her family and friends. Her days always started off on a bright note when she was able to talk with her mother Maria in Germany every day while they enjoyed a cup of coffee together.

Konny’s heart was at its fullest when she was spending time with her sons, Dan & his wife, Adrienne and Aron & his wife, Kamela; and with her grandsons, Little Aron & Dustin. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Konny will be reunited in Heaven with her husband Steve, father Kurt and many other family members that have passed before her.

The family will be receiving family & friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 11, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm with inurnment at Dayton National Cemetery, scheduled for 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Konny to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
