Kristina M Williams

Kristina Michele Williams, 17, died on Friday, April 23, 2010. Kristina was a faithful worker in the childrens ministry of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia and a youth leader in the churchs youth group. Her love for children was obvious and the children loved her in return; you would frequently find her barefoot, sitting on the floor, helping an unhappy child find laughter. She enjoyed worshiping God by singing and playing guitar in the praise band and loved to play music with her friends. She loved coffee, computers, sailing on Lake Erie,and dancing in the rain. She will be remembered as a talented musician, excellent student, loving daughter, caring girlfriend, and a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. She is survived by her Great Grandmother Grace Prueter; Grandmothers Sharon Newell and Cynthia Hendrickson; her parents, Jennifer and Edward Williams; her siblings, Michael and his wife Jennifer (and their unborn child), Matthew, Jessica, Joshua, and Alyssa. Her extended family includes numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends across the country as well as the adopted families that have played a special part in her life. A memorial service was held Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Vandalia. Donations may be sent to the Awana program in care of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia.
