BOOTHE, Larry R., age 68 of Union Twp., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 11, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired member of Ironworkers Local 290 with over 50 years of service; was a member of the Polish A. D. Club and St John the Baptist Catholic Church. Larry was preceded in death by one son & daughter-in-law William Bill and Kim Boothe; parents Ezra & Thelma (May) Boothe; grandparents William & Bertha Boothe; brother Paul Boothe, and sister Barbara Schultz. Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years Sally; one daughter Julie Boothe of Huber Heights; 2 sons and daughters-in-law Larry Jr & Donna Boothe of Palestine, TX and Thomas & Marci Boothe of Houston, TX; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law Jerry & Cindy Hall of Denton, TX and Mike & Sharon Boothe of Xenia; grandchildren William Chris & wife Ashlee, Ashley, Austin, Colton, Haley, Makenzie, Dylan, Jordan, Kendall and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday November 16 at 10:30am at St John the Baptist Catholic Church 753 N. Hyatt St. Tipp City with Fr. Mark Sherlock officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Sunday evening from 5:30 to 8:00pm and again on Monday morning at the church from 9:30am until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund 1801 Willamette St. Suite 200 Eugene, OR 97401 or to the ALS Association 1170 Old Henderson Rd. Suite 221 Columbus, OH 43220 in Larrys memory.
