Larry D. Burlile

BURLILE, Larry D., age 62 of Vandalia, passed away at home on Wednesday November, 23, 2011. Mr. Burlile was preceded in death by his parents C. Alvin and Elizabeth J. (Henry) Burlile and brother Charles A. Burlile. He is survived by his wife Beth (Algeo) of 42 years, two sons, Andrew T Burlile (wife Kim) and A. Trevor Burlile, and by a brother, Ronald L. (wife Cathy) Burlile of Springfield Tennessee. His life has been enriched and fulfilled by six grandchildren, Brandon, Carter, Grant, Matthew (Biff), Zackary, and Nicole. He graduated from Springfield South High School in 1967 and enlisted in the Air National Guard from 1967 to 1974. He retired from General Motors after thirty years. After moving to Florida, he worked for Tropicana & Ikon Office Solutions. Upon returning back to Ohio, he was employed by Springfield Municipal Court. He had many dear friends who were very supportive throughout his illness. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Drive Vandalia Ohio 45377 on Friday, November 25, 2011 (TODAY). A funeral mass is planned at St. Christopher Catholic Church at 435 E. National Road Vandalia, Ohio 45377 on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00 am. Contributions can be made to St Christopher School 405 E. National Road Vandalia, Ohio 45377 in Larrys memory.
