Larry E Dalton

DALTON, Larry E., age 63, of Moraine, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 14, 1945 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Earl & Bertha (Dawes) Dalton. Larry spent his life serving various communities in the fire service, and was the retired Fire Chief with Jefferson Township. Preceded in death by 1 brother, Carylton and 1 sister, Christine, Larry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie (Kuck); 2 daughters, Alicia Nolan (Joe) of Oak Ridge, TN and Tonia Ewing (Forrest) of Beavercreek; 2 sons, Greg & Kristopher Dalton, both of Moraine; 1 sister, Bernice Terry (Ralph); 4 grandchildren, Forrest Michael, Shane, Emily & Denaee and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 9, at Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Rd., Dayton with Pastor Steve Kirby and Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, the Miami Shores Baptist Church or Hospice of Dayton in Larrys memory.
