Larry E. Furrow

FURROW, Larry E ., age 83 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Kingston of Miamisburg. He was born January 26, 1934 in Dayton, OH, son of the late George E. & Florence (Counts) Furrow. Larry was a U. S. Army Veteran and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Dayton. Larry retired from Willis Case Harwood as an Advertising Executive. He was a member of the Toastmasters and the American Legion Post #668 of Vandalia. Preceded in death by his wife, Roberta K. Furrow on March 5, 2016 and one son, Larry Lee Furrow, Larry is survived by his daughter, Vicky (Todd) Earhart of Mason; 5 grandchildren, Kristi Furrow, Megan Earhart, Katie Earhart, Kelsey (Earhart) Keyser and Jake Earhart; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayla Betts and Colton Earhart, along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration honoring the lives of both Larry & Roberta Furrow will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, October 30 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, followed by a Time of Reflection and Sharing for family and friends at 7:00 pm. Military honors will also be performed in honor of Larry’s service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
