Larry P. Jones

JONES, Larry P. age 68 of Tipp City formerly of Vandalia passed away Thursday October 7, 2010 at his residence following an illness. He was born August 11, 1942 in Dayton son of the late Paul & Rosetta (Kline) Jones. He was a former truck driver with Roadway Trucking and was a member of the American Legion in Tipp City. He was preceded in death by a sister Charlene Tackett and a brother Kenneth Jones. Larry is survived by 1 brother Raymond Jones of Springfield; 1 sister Darlene Sullivan of Vandalia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Closed casket funeral services will be held Saturday Oct. 9 at 10:30am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with his brother Rev. Raymond Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30am until time of services. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County in Larrys memory.
