Larry D Trout

TROUT, Larry D., age 70 of Butler Twp., passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born January 9, 1938 in Galipolis, OH, son of French V. & Ruth M. (Young) Trout. Larry was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and attended the Salem Church of God. He was an avid lover of race cars, he had such a generous and giving spirit and was considered by all to be the sweetest man that ever lived. Preceded in death by his father, Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Reva J. (Collins); his mother, Ruth of Tipp City; 1 sister, Kay & husband, Bruce Shoup of Tipp City; 2 nephews, Dean & Robert Shoup; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Bob & Lois Collins of Miamisburg; and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 21 at the Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Childrens Medical Center or Hospice of Dayton in Larrys memory.
