Leebern Kash Allen

ALLEN, Leebern Kash, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his home with his family at his bedside. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Susie H. and Will P. Allen; brothers, William, Grover, Caleb and John; sisters, Marie, Leone, and Rhoda; and son-in-law, Jay Sollenberger. He is survived by his sisters, Eloise Loechinger and Susan I. Bolwell; his wife of 56 years, Carolyn, and daughters, Becky and husband, David Dill and Debby Sollenberger; grandchildren, Mike and wife, Karianne Dill; Emily and husband, Brian Kaucher; Matt Sollenberger and Karla Sollenberger; great-grandchildren, Stephen Dill and Hanna Kaucher. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, January 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Dick VanTine officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 pm until time of service. The family would like to express their gratitude to the numerous caregivers of Hospice of Dayton whose kind service made it possible for Lee to remain at home during his difficult illness.
