Leola Faye Miller

MILLER, Leola Faye (Bowman) age 84 of Phoneton, passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1927 in Gray, KY daughter of the late David & Rhoda (White) Martin. Leola was a lifelong resident of the Dayton area and had worked at Master Electric. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Howard C. Bowman, her 2nd husband Harold E. Miller, her daughter Sandra Metcalf, 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Leola is survived by her daughter Shirley Cerney; one brother Carl Martin; one sister Dovie Edwards; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 25 at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Tom Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8pm.
