July 23, 1926 — September 3, 2011

McNUTT, Leon C. age 85 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Elmcroft of Washington Twp. He was born July 23, 1926 in Lansing, MI. son of the late Emerson C. & Eva (Baron) McNutt. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Leon served in WWII. He was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). A man of many talents, he was the owner of the Phillipsburg PDQ, a stockbroker, and an electrical engineer with RCA and ARC companies. Leon was a member of the Elks Lodge #58 of Dayton and the American Legion Post# 668 in Vandalia. He also enjoyed singing with his Barbershop Chorus. He is survived by his wife Betty McNutt of Miamisburg; children Mike (Vickie) Wolfenbarger of Englewood, Greg (Amy) Wolfenbarger of Springboro, Sheri (David) Churches of MI, Thomas (Mary) McNutt of PA, Scott (Christine) McNutt of WI, Dan (Janet) of TX; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Tuesday September 6, 2011 from 12 to 2pm with funeral services to follow officiated by Rev Tom Weeks. Private burial will take place on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Lansing, MI. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Leons memory.
