Leona M Mullins

MULLINS, Leona M., age 86 of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was born June 3, 1922 in Greenville, OH, daughter of the late Elmer & Caroline (Hupe) Beisner. Leona was a member of the North Riverdale Lutheran Church, the Ohio Airstream Club and the Northmont Republican Club. Preceded in death by her husband, Vernis L. Mullins in 1991; 2 sisters, Twila Mae Kidd & Doris Lee, Leona is survived by her daughters, Susan Sherer of Centerville, son-in-law, Doug Sherer & Carol Wise of Tipp City; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Tracey Jackson (Matt); Robert & Carrie; 1 great-grandson, Carson; 2 sisters, Virginia Gibbons & Phyllis Hathaway (Bob) both of Greenville; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, April 9 at the North Riverdale Lutheran Church, 45 Kurtz Ave., with Pastor Monte Stevens officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 12:30 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the North Riverdale Lutheran Church in Leonas memory.
