Leonard Daulton

DAULTON, Leonard age 75 of Brookville, passed away Sunday January 7, 2007 at Brookhaven Nursing Center. He was born March 26, 1931 in Nancy, KY son of the late Oscar & Nona (Baker) Dalton. Leonard was a retired employee of General Motors, and was a member of United Steel Workers Local #87. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post in New Lebanon. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Leonard is survived by his wife of 56 years Jessie (Highley) Daulton; 2 sons Daryl Len & wife Theresa Daulton and Rickey Lee & wife Janice Daulton all of Brookville; one daughter Kimberly Ann & husband Michael McDevitt of Beavercreek; 6 grandchildren Jeffrey, John, Joshua, Johannah, Alexander, Jennifer; one great-grandson Corbin and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday January 12 at 10:30am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Darryl Ditmer officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm.
