Leotta Freshour

FRESHOUR, Leotta J. age 76 of Union, passed away Tuesday April 10, 2007 in North Charleston, SC following an illness. She was born August 2, 1930 in Plymouth, IN, daughter of the late Fred & Blanche Bacon. She was a member of the First Grace Brethren Church. Leotta was preceded in death by her first husband Forrest Amor in 1990 and second husband Howard Freshour in 2006; one brother Fred Bacon Jr and one sister Margaret Couts. Mrs Freshour is survived by 3 daughters Karen & husband Bill Streitenberger of Leesburg, OH, Barbara & husband David Lyons of Dayton, Rebecca & husband Jay Bruggeman of North Charleston, SC; 3 step-sons Robert & wife Leslie Freshour of Brookville, Steve & wife Rachel Freshour of Lewisburg, Don & wife Brenda Freshour of Englewood; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 14 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Mark Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 8pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to First Grace Brethren Church Memorial Fund in Leottas memory.
