Lester L. Winkler

WINKLER, Lester L., age 73, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 20, 1937 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Harold & Alta (Watern) Winkler. Les was a retired employee of Delphi, formerly Delco Products, with over 32 years of service and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Karen in 2007 and 1 brother, Richard Winkler, Les is survived by his daughter, Shelly Winkler and special friend, Rick Adams of Dayton; nephews, Rodney & Jeffrey Winkler; aunt, Pat Robinson; cousins, Robin & Ed Atchison and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 6 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. David Hixon officiating. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
