Lila Niahros

NIARHOS, Lila Jean, age 72 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2007 at Blake Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. She was born April 26, 1934 in Jackson Co., KY, daughter of the late James & Helen (Roberts) Deaton. Lila was a retired employee of General Motors with 29 years of service and was a member of the Ladies Auxilary groups at the AmVets Post #99, American Legion Post #668 and the VFW Post #9589. Preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Carolyn, Lila is survived by her husband of 43 years, Christopher Niarhos; her children, Debbie (Dick) Grieshop, Michael (Linda) Wissinger, Jim (Candy) Wissinger, Bob (Vivien) Wissinger, and Christa (Steve) Reynolds; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, February 21, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 pm until time of service.
