Linda Davidson

DAVIDSON, Linda A. age 75 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Stonespring of Vandalia. Linda was born February 11, 1942 in Dayton, daughter of the late Richard & Jeane (Kent) Waymire. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a retired employee of Whirlpool Corp. She was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed her time with the ladies in the sewing circle. Linda was preceded in death by one brother Garth Waymire; and brother-in-law, Michael Horton. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Eldon Davidson; 2 daughters Diane (David) Webb, and Sandra (Andy) Osip; one grandson Matthew Webb; one sister Marcia Horton; 3 brothers Kent (Ute) Waymire, Craig Waymire and Brian (Susan) Waymire and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday May 19 at 11:00am at the Vandalia United Methodist Church 200 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Mike Malcosky officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening (May 18) from 5 to 8 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Vandalia United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio 45377 in Linda’s memory.
