Linda Kay Jones

Linda Kay Jones, 75, of Englewood, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2024. She was born April 9, 1949, the daughter of the late Curtis E. Chandler and Wanda (Cornwell) Chandler, in Dayton, Ohio. Linda graduated from Northridge High School in 1967 and retired from Northridge Local Schools (Bus Driver) after 30 years of dedicated service. Linda made numerous friends in the bus driving community over her career and served generations of children by safely transporting them to and from school. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Megan Nicole Ehrhart.

She leaves her loving husband of 34 years, Larry M. Jones; two brothers, Phil (Pam) Chandler of Englewood and Steve (Ruth) Chandler of Clarksville, TN; three daughters, Lisa (Andy) Ehrhart, Adrianne (Bill) Kirk and Heather (Paul) Watkins; eight grandchildren, Bethany (Jake) Suhr, Amber (Ryan) Strasburg, Kody Kirk, Kaylynn Kirk, Aaron (Emma) Crain, Kristin Ehrhart, Ethan Watkins and Emilia Watkins; six great grandchildren, Charlotte, Weston and Violet Suhr, Zoey and Chloe Strasburg, and Charlotte Crain.

Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with Pastor Mark Masterson, officiating. The burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends Friday at 12 noon, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
