COLLINS, Lois O’Shell, age 76 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital.  She was born October 11, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth (Hudson) O’Shell.   Lois was a member of the First Light Church of Vandalia, and a loving wife, mother and “Nana.”

Preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Tracy Lynn Collins; sister, Margaret Ann Amburgey; Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert “Bob” Collins; brother, Larry O’Shell (Marty Bartolac); grandchildren, Zachary B. Collins, Laken N. Collins and Kylie B. Lovejoy (Jesse); numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 15, 2023 at the First Light Church, 140 Elva Ct., Vandalia with Mr. Ed Kuhn officiating.  Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.  The family will receive friends at First Light Church on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service.   Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice.  Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
