Lois A. Rusnak

RUSNAK, Lois A., age 72 of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn. Lois was born November 13, 1943 in Swissville, PA, daughter of the late Alfred J. & Natella U. (Munjas) Hoener. Lois and her family re-located from Pennsylvania to Ohio in 1979. She was an employee of Miami County, where she held many positions, most recently in Human Resource with the Commissioner’s office. She was involved with the Living Word Church in Vandalia and received her PhD in Theology through the Christian Life School of Theology. Preceded in death by one brother, Larry, Lois is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond; 1 son, Jeff Rusnak (Chris) of N. Kentucky; 1 daughter, Lori Weaver (Chuck) of Middletown; 4 grandchildren, Isaiah, Christopher, Haydon & Katie; 4 great-grandchildren, Kasen, Ian, Willow & Silas, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, November 16, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Lois’s memory.
