Lola G Cassell

CASSELL, Lola G., age 83 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born August 1, 1926 in Madison, Indiana, daughter of the late Harley & Burdella (Delk) Perry. Preceded in death by 1 sister, Marge Fields, Lola is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Cassell; 1 daughter, Sue Melaszus (John) and 1 son, Dave Cassell (Pam), all of Vandalia; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Robinson (Vern), Christopher Cassell (Dee), Nick Melaszus & Andrea Cassell; 3 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Tanner & Connor Cassell, and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 5, at the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene, 620 Stonequarry Rd, with Pastor Josh Cougle officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Friday evening from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene in Lolas memory.
