Lorae Phillips

Age 73, of Casstown, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. Lorae was born March 15, 1944 in Fairborn, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Inez (Clevenger) Neely.

Lorae retired from Beneficial Financial Services with 28 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and for four years in a row she was the Grand Champion Quilter at the Miami County Fair.

Lorae is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Michael E. Phillips; two children, Heather Phillips and Eric Phillips (Carrie); four grandchildren, Ashley, Logan, Fiona and CoraBelle; three siblings, Ralph Fannin (Judy), David Neely and Michelle Hinds (Todd); and by her extended family and many good friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, at the Ginghamsburg Church Discipleship Center, 7695 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Tipp City. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Following the funeral service, family & friends are invited to stay at the church for a time of food & fellowship.
